Plot:
Donna lives with Sophie, her daughter, on a small Greek Island. They have there a picturesque pansion, and they are doing their best to survive economicaly. Sophie is about to be married and her two best friends and the two best friends of her mother arrive on the Greek island. Her father… is unknown. When she was conceived, a summer back in the 60s, her mother had fallen in love (and made love) with three men. Sophie found the names of the possible fathers on her mother’s diary, and she had the great idea to invite the three of them to her wedding. Well, she thought it was a great idea till those 
three guys arrived and… her mother becomes confussed and the stress overwhelms her. Don’t forget, though, the power of love that can fix everything, and make life beautiful like a song!
Our impressions and movie review:
Summertime, greek islands and songs that we, at least the more mature part of the audience, love since our childhood. A wonderful, refreshing, fast paced musical full of Greece! Fantastic landscapes from the beautiful Skopelos and Skiathos islands, beat disco music by ABBA and wonderful perfomances flooded with music notes. The story is simplistic, but who cares? Everything is beautiful! “Mamma Mia” should be your first choice for summer movie nights at your home. Good company, a fresh salad, cold homemade lemonade and… turn off the lights… the movie begins… and noone wants the mosquitoes that the lights gather! I am just kidding my darling, it is just more romantic that was 🙂
