Evdokia: Do not let Tempi to be forgotten!

Stop scrolling. My name is Evdokia and I’m a survivor of an unprecedented crime that never should have happened.

Three months ago, 57 innocent souls, mostly students, lost their lives in a head-on train collision in Greece.

The rest of us live in severe trauma and in fear of a reoccurrence.

This was no accident. For months, railway officials as well as workers sent repeated, clear, written warnings of what eventually happened.

Are we talking about a case of negligence or possible deception, conditional intent that led to a massacre?

And what has changed since?

I am calling on people in Greece, in Europe, worldwide, to shed light on the issue.

By sharing the message, we put pressure for justice, for transparency, and to make Greece

safe again for the residents, for the visitors, but most importantly for our collective conscience.

Democracy’s homeland, our dear country, is now gripped by an alarming tremor within its system.

We are doing it for the souls that evaporated literally in an instant.

We are doing it because we are awake and we are doing it because we can.

Nothing but the truth.

The government assured us of the railway’s safety, of the success of the investment.

Even a few days before the crash.

He claimed publicly that the ETCS, the most basic safety system that all countries are

required to have in Europe was functioning.

They kept lying even after the crash, everything is recorded.

Our minister of transportation signed off on damaging the Greek railway funds for 797

million in 2022 only.

Ironically on my birthday on July 9th.

Three months later, the most basic questions have not been answered.

Why?

There’s a disturbing confusion about the responsibilities of a train passenger, of a train station manager,

and of a Minister of Transportation.

Why?

Why the investigations have not revealed anything before the elections?

It’s a shame that a young traumatized woman has to put herself on the spotlight like this,

but now you are on the spotlight too. After a reality crash where your false words of yesterday

collide with our true acts in the present, we are going to show you our power. Let’s show them who
